What you did in the end was mature. While I don't agree with having unprotected sex just because you were "bored". That in itself was a stupid idea and you showed your age by doing so, however you made up for it by deciding to put the baby up for adoption and finding a good home for the baby. She followed through with the birth and made sure that the baby had a loving mother, even though the father left (and thus showing how immature he is as well).
Overall, what she did was mature, and while initially she was extremely, and I mean EXTREMEMLY, immature to the point of representing a mere 1% of the teenager population (because while teens may have sex because they're bored, nobody decides not to use a condom because they're "bored"), in the end she went through with everything and handled it in a very adult manner. This is a good way to handle a bad choice, in my opinion.
